Free Swim Lessons
Free small-group swim lessons are available to children following the morning swim team practice.
Every member of Nassau can learn to swim at their own pace.
Whether your children are still wading in our Baby & Toddler pool or ready to work on their backstroke, the swimming program will get them up to speed. And we offer lessons for interested adults of any age, too!
We welcome your interest and hope that you join us for the upcoming swim season. Existing/Returning Members and Seniors can use the online registration, too! Seniors (55 years and older), simply choose your discounted membership level -- either Senior Individual or Senior Couple -- during the registation process.

The Swim Team:
(Ages 6-18) Nassau Swim Team is a participating member of PASDA (Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association). We compete against other area teams, as well as in the Championship Meet held at the end of the season. At the conclusion of a MEET, individual swimmers are ranked and awarded ribbons. Also, the individual swimmers' combined scores result in a winning team.
Our teams traditionally have some very good swimmers, but the emphasis is on fun and being part of the team. We believe that creating an atmosphere where kids are enjoying the activity keeps them interested. We encourage team members to come to practice daily, but we understand when other summer commitments take priority. So, come out and have fun -- all are welcome -- and we hope to see you there!
REQUIREMENTS: Team Members are required to have completed the deep-end test, and have a desire to have fun. No previous experience is needed to join the team. Parents of participants are asked to volunteer to work at three of the meets, either home or away, and to bring a baked good for the home meet (no nuts please). You will also be asked to work one event at the championships.

Like the swimming team, our dive teams traditionally have some very good divers, but the emphasis is on fun and being part of the team. A fun, low-key atmosphere keeps kids interested in the activity. We encourage team members to come to practice daily, but we understand when other summer commitments take priority. So, come out and have fun -- all are welcome -- and we hope to see you there!
